Dealing with the Change.

Vannakam everyone,

This blog is special to me. Because it is based on my own personal experience. Sometimes I wish Complan could help us grow mentally too! It is the most difficult thing I have encountered- Growing up,Dealing with the change.
College to corporate transition was not so easy. Let me put you in my shoes-First of all you dint dream of working in an IT company. You are  in an unknown place with no knowledge of the native language( and your hindi is bad too)You get a place to stay with a Bed and a cupboard. You are no more in College. No more bunking and sleeping whenever you want to.You start to work or atleast act like you have work. Act all professional.Going to office Monday morning gives you the same feeling as going to school after a long vacation. You have to spend your money which is lot different from spending your parents money. And your Friends are close yet far away because they got their own work to do.Its no more fun. My Life Sucks.-Or thats what I thought in the beginning.
Apart from the fact that I am a Drama Queen,it is true that my life is undergoing a lot of change. So does yours. If you are one such person like me- then continue reading.

Why is it so difficult to accept Change?

Firstly becuase your past is too good to leave. You had awesome life with awesome friends (awesome homefood may be :P ) Or whatever it was-It was just sooooo good that you dont want to change. You want your life to remain the way it was. You feel so safe there.
Secondly because you are scared. Scared when things become different. Scared when people around you change. Scared of new responsibilities.Scared when you have to say Good byes.

Why do we have to accept Change?
Simple-cause change is inevitable. Thats the way life works.
Things Change and Friends leave-life doesnt stop for anybody-Stephen Chbosky.

Just get out and give it a Try!.May be it is not as scary as we assume it to be.May be we will find interest in the new things we got to do.When I once told my friend how I am scared of change cause I may have to say Goodbyes ,He said he loves change because he gets to say new Hellos! May be the new Hellos wont be that bad after all. May be some of them will turn into your loved one.
May be you will get to discover yourself. Learn new things. See life from a different perspective.

My College ID card is replaced with office ID card. Birthday treats with friends -Team dinner. Commenting on Teacher-Commenting on Manager. Bunking is now called Sick Leave. classmates-Teamates.Come to think of it change is not that scary after all :)

Someone to Love
Something to Do
Something to Hope for.- If you got all that , then you should just do the Fastrack thing-MOVE ON!

What is different about Men?

Hello Men and women, I have so many Wonderful  Men in my life..father,brother,uncles, cousins, friends,colleagues.. I always felt there is a big difference in the way I think and the way they think, So I observed them closely and came up with few results..,, 1.Men love food. 2.They dont really spend much time in shopping., (No wonder men's section is not that much crowded) 3.They say what they want to say directly and in a simple manner(they have a hard time understanding women when they say things indirectly) 4.They expect to be trusted. 5.Most of them want you to just listen to their problems. Thats more than enough. They are not asking for an half an hour advice. 6.They may look at 10 girls a day. But when they are commited to someone they take it real serious( most of them do) 7.They want to be heared out fully before being judged. 8.Helping women gives them a good feeling about themselves. 9.While handling complex situations , they are not as good as women. 10....

The Appreciation Effect

Hello people, I am here as a blogger because of my best friend who constantly "appreciates" my work. (It was his idea to start a blog).Thank you Laxman.  So i would like to start by discussing about the power of appreciation. "Appreciation can make a day, even change a life.Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary" -Margaret Cousins I was late to office and had to take an auto. He was not like the usual "fast and furious". He drove patiently and when neared my office he took the auto so close to the foot path,so that I dont have to walk that little distance. How thoughtful of him. Its a simple thing. Its a Rs.20 drive, but still he wanted to be perfect. I said "Thank You".It was clearly seen that he was happy to hear that :) . Iam pretty sure it would have boosted him up for the rest of the day. How many times do auto drivers get thanked for the safe drive ??. But they are never left without a scolding, when they make a...

Smile like a Smiley :) :)

Vaangana Vanakamna ,   From the beginning man was busy finding a way to communicate with his fellow beings. Starting from signs- signals-alphabets-pigeon post-telephone- telegraph. Then came the  giants-Internet and Mobile phones. People now  “Chat” without opening their mouths.  :p Thats when the smileys became a popular culture. A smiley is a human face , intially made with the keybaord keys. It then emerged into yellow faces , with black eyes and mouth. Now there are wide range of smileys apart from the faces.  The basic ones are :-) and :-(  The smiley was said to be documented first by a computer scientist ,Scott Fahlman in the year 1982. He called them "joke markers" 19-Sep-82 11:44 Scott E. Fahlman :-) From: Scott E. Fahlman <Fahlman at Cmu-20c> I propose that the following character sequence for joke markers: :-) Read it sideways. Actually, it is probably more economical to mark things that ...
