Once upon a time there lived a man called Mr.Do It All At Once. Lets call him Mr.DIA for short. He was very impatient. When he wants something,he wants it done right away. Mr.DIA joined in a french class. At the end of the first day,he was busy writing in his note. When the teacher questioned,he said he was trying a poem! Mr.DIA once wanted to reduce weight. He started walking right away for four hours. The next day the poor man couldn't move and had to take bed rest. People still make fun of how the burger got stuck in his mouth, because he tried to put the whole burger inside his mouth at once. Mr.DIA became worried that something was wrong with him.
And yes it was.He din't know how to"wait" and "divide".Anything good in life takes time to happen and we should get used to that fact first. Taking your goal and dividing it into smaller jobs ,makes it easier for us to achieve and also gives us a clear picture of what we are doing and where we are headed to.
The Guinness Book of World Records records the true story of a man who ate an entire airplane. His name was Michel Lotito. He was a french entertainer who consumed almost everything that was not meant for man to consume from dirt to an airplane! Why he ate an airplane is not of our concern .But we certainly need to have a look at how he ate it. He didn't eat it all in one day. He broke down the airplane into smaller pieces, melted the parts into small swallowable units and consumed every piece. He took two years to eat it from 1978 to 1980. (fortunately he dint have any health issues)
It does sound impossible to eat an airplane. But it was possible when broken down into smaller pieces.
Sometimes we do look at the big work that is infront of us and we are convinced that we will never be able to complete it.That is when we must start with the division. Divide your work into smaller pieces as possible. Then start with the smallest work unit. Then go for the next. You will get a feeling that it is feasible. One by one you will complete it one day.
